Quantum Break Microsoft Launch Parties, Livestream Event Announced
Party time.
Microsoft is celebrating the launch of Quantum Break with parties across its Microsoft Stores in the US and Canada, while developer Remedy Entertainment will host a release-night livestream, it has been announced.
The Microsoft Store launch parties will take place the evening of April 4, during which attendees can play the game early and partake in food and drink. Additionally, the first 200 people to buy Quantum Break at each store will get a Quantum Break poster as a free gift.

For international fans, Microsoft is hosting a Quantum Break launch party at its flagship store in Sydney at the Pitt Street Mall. X-Men actor Shawn Ashmore, who plays the lead role in Quantum Break's game and TV show components, will appear at the event to sign autographs and participate in a Q&A.
If you're heading out to any of the events, you will probably want to RSVP on the Microsoft Stores Facebook page, where other information about the events is also available.
Microsoft has also announced that everyone who preorders Quantum Break at a Microsoft Store by April 4 will receive a $10 store gift card; shoppers who preorder through the Microsoft Store website, meanwhile, will get a $10 Xbox gift card.
Finally, if you can't or don't want to go to a launch party for Quantum Break but still want to keep up with the news, you can tune into a Remedy's livestream. The event will be held "near launch," Microsoft said in this post on the Xbox Wire; more details on the event will be shared soon.
Quantum Break launches for Xbox One and PC on April 5. In other recent news, Remedy has announced the game's PC graphics settings.
