Comments

Late last night, id Software released the Linux port of Q3Test, a preliminary test version of its upcoming Quake III: Arena. The download is intended to give interested participants a chance to test the game's network code and graphics for any bugs encountered during gameplay.

Additionally, id Software delivered an updated version of last weekend's original Mac release of Q3Test with improved latency, speed, and stability. The version of Q3Test for Windows 95/98 is still in the works without any word of an expected release date.
