QBC vs. Madden, Round 2

According to the rental charts, Quarterback Club edged out Madden, but GoldenEye remains on top.

The Video Software Dealers Association (VSDA) announced its VidTrac results for the week ending Nov. 9, and the battle for the top of the N64 football heap this week goes to Acclaim's NFL Quarterback Club '98. Quarterback Club edged out EA's Madden 64 for the number two slot in the video game rental chart. However, neither game was big enough to beat GoldenEye 007, which has held the number one slot for quite a while, unmoved by the newest N64 releases. Top Gear Rally ends up in the number four slot, with Mario Kart rounding out the top five.

Will GoldenEye be able to hold fast against Nintendo's own Diddy Kong Racing? Time will tell as rental numbers come in from the Diddy Kong rent-before-you-can-buy-it promotion that Nintendo's running with several of the nation's biggest rental chains.
