PUBG Corp. has released a new update for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds on Xbox One. Following its stint on the test server, patch #13 has been rolled over to the live game, although it's a fairly minor one, primarily making optimization and performance improvements.

Among other things, PUBG Corp. has optimized the parachuting and free-fall process, which the developer says will make the game run better during the early stages of each match. Additionally, world loading has been improved, while movement data for players who close by but out-of-sight is processed more efficiently.

On top of those changes, PUBG Corp. has optimized the inventory, which the developer says has improved its responsiveness when being opened and fixed "some" crashing issues. Finally, the update resolves performance issues that were caused by uninhabited boats and vehicles.

You can find the full patch notes for update #13 below and on PUBG's official website. While this patch should help further improve how the game runs on the console, PUBG Corp. acknowledges some remaining issues that it hopes to address soon. In particular, the game occasionally crashes after play sessions that last three hours or longer on the original Xbox One or the Xbox One S.

PUBG Corp. is planning to release PUBG's second map, Miramar, on Xbox One soon. The developer recently hosted a test for the map, although the first test session was mired by technical issues. PUBG Corp. hasn't announced when Miramar will arrive to the live game, although it is planned to launch this month. The PC version also recently received a major update; you can see that in the video above.
