The theme music for the massively successful Battle Royale game, PUBG, will be available today digitally to stream and purchase. The intense, driving theme music is recognisable to anyone who has played the game, and now you can listen whenever you want. Tom Salta, AKA Atlas Plug, wrote the song. You might not know him by name, but you are more than likely familiar with his work. He wrote music for games like LawBreakers, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, and Halo: Spartan Assault, as well as the animated series Halo: The Fall of Reach.

Salta said in a statement that it was an "exciting challenge" to write music that embodies the intense nature of PUBG the game. "I really hope the fans enjoy it as much as I did writing and producing it!," he said.

Bluehole audio director Haejin Lee added, "We were looking for an orchestral electronic hybrid theme that would give players a huge build-up keeping them resolutely determined until the beginning of actual gameplay."

Lee added that she and PUBG creator Brendan Greene personally picked Salta to write the theme music for the Battle Royale game. "I've worked with many composers and Tom is one of the most energetic collaborators I've ever worked with. During his composition process, he came up with something even better than what we had envisioned," Lee added.

Go to Salta's website to learn more about him and his work. You can download the PUBG theme music right here on iTunes. You can listen on Spotify through the embed above or in your Spotify app here.
