PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has been a phenomenal hit on PC and will soon be hitting Xbox One too, but it looks like a whole new category of players could access the game in the future. Publisher Tencent, which recently announced it's bringing a localized PC version of PUBG to China, has said it's developing a mobile version of the game, reports Engadget.

Tencent dropped the news in a press release and said an authentic mobile port of the PUBG is in the works. It also said China would be the first to get the port, but offered no extra details on when it would come out in that country or other markets around the world. It's worth noting there are already many smaller Chinese clones of the game on mobile devices.
