A new PlayStation Network sale is underway, this one offering some steep discounts on dozens of games for all platforms.

Dubbed the Innovators Sale, these discounts are primarily offered on indie games, the vast majority of which can be had for less than $10. The sale is available for everyone, with steeper discounts offered to PlayStation Plus subscribers.

Among the highlights for Plus members on PS4 are The Witness for $24 ($28 without Plus), Flower for $2 ($2.79), Enter the Gungeon for $9 ($10.49), OlliOlli 2 for $6 ($7.49), and Risk of Rain for $6 ($7). There are some fairly recent--and very good--games included, too, such as Videoball for $6 ($7) and Severed on Vita for $9 ($10.49).

I'd also call attention to the PS3's Tokyo Jungle for $6 ($7.49). This is an incredibly charming and bizarre game in which you explore a post-apocalyptic Tokyo as a variety of animals, including a Pomeranian.

There are many other worthwhile games in the sale; you can see a complete list on the PlayStation Store. A number of them support Cross-Buy, getting you access on multiple platforms.

The sale runs from now until Tuesday, September 6, at 8 AM PT.

That "indie" crap, again, for the 1000th time. Only witness look good.

@everson_rm: Back in my day AAA games looked like indies (and cost $50-$80 new) at lease now there's diversity.

@everson_rm: indies are great for the overall health of gaming. Most largescale triple A titles have to follow a set formula to garner sales.

Indies have much more flexibility and can take chances.

Curious though, why are the above games (-witness) crap for you?

@RicanV: I've played some "high praised indies", but i never saw a indie game as good as an good SNES game, thats why. It looks like indie game is an excuse to be a ugly and boring game.

@RicanV: as if you would get a response from someone who reacts in such away. People act like games like Furi aren't as interesting as AAA titles.

@everson_rm: It is for me. I enjoy new concepts and love that indies are getting more spotlight. In a market where AAA titles all follow the same safe formula and concepts for safe sales, games like bro force, transistor, limbo, and journey have been a breath of fresh air to my peers and I.

To each their own, though. Their are plenty of gamers and new concepts now that everyone has something they can enjoy.
