PSN code redemption comes back online
Option to redeem vouchers "should" be back at near full capacity, Sony says, following downtime.
Sony has restored code redemption functionality on the PlayStation Network following the temporary removal of the option late last week.
"We should be nearly back at full capacity for redemption," Sony said on the PlayStation Blog today.
On Friday, Sony temporarily disabled the option to redeem vouchers through the PSN in a bid to ensure a smoother experience after the service struggled to stay online following the PlayStation 4's launch in Europe.
This affected money cards, product vouchers, PlayStation Plus vouchers, PS3-PS4 upgrade vouchers, and all other vouchers for digital content.
Sony announced today that it has sold more than 2.1 million PS4s around the world since the platform originally launched in North America on November 15.
