Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap, the beautiful remake of the classic 1989 platformer, released for PS4, Switch, and Xbox One last month (with a PC release on the way this June). Up until now, the title has only been available digitally, but soon PS4 owners will have a chance to pick up a physical copy from Limited Run Games.

The company, which specializes in releasing physical versions of digital-only titles for PS4 and PS Vita, has announced it will sell physical copies of Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap for PS4 this summer. The game will be available in both standard and collector's editions, though prices have yet to be announced. Limited Run also hasn't specified what will come in the collector's edition.

Since the company's founding in 2015, Limited Run Games has produced physical versions of a number of popular indie titles, including Octodad: Dadliest Catch, Runner 2, and most recently Mutant Mudds Deluxe. A physical version of Risk of Rain is also releasing through Limited Run Games on May 26. As the company's name implies, these releases are available in limited quantities and can only be purchased through its website.

We had good things to say in our Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap review, awarding the game 8/10 and calling it "one of the best retro remakes yet." The game released alongside three other well-received remakes: Voodoo Vince Remastered, Full Throttle Remastered, and Disney Afternoon Collection.
