PS4 system update 1.52 available now, improves system stability
Latest system update now available for Sony's new console.
Sony today released PlayStation 4 system update 1.52, which promises to improve system software stability. The firmware update can be manually downloaded via the Settings menu. Users can also set their systems to automatically download updates by enabling Automatic Downloads.
Competitor Microsoft yesterday released a firmware update for the Xbox One, which addressed various SmartGlass, operating system, and matchmaking issues.
The PS4 has sold more than 2.1 million consoles around the world, and is now neck-and-neck with the Xbox One after Microsoft announced sales of 2 million consoles earlier today. For more on the PS4, check out GameSpot's review of Sony's newest system.
