Sony announced its new PS4 Pro today, but one thing it left out of the announcement is the fact that the upgraded system will not feature a 4K Blu-ray drive, according to system specifications provided to the press.

The PS4 Pro will support 4K media and streaming, but you won't be able to play any Ultra HD movies with it. The upgraded PS4 comes with the same Blu-ray/DVD drive that the standard model was equipped with.
