PS4 launching in Asian territories December 2013
Sony's next-generation console to launch in Asian territories this year.
The PlayStation 4 is launching in December this year in South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Taiwan. Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia announced the release date during its pre-Tokyo Game Show press conference today.
A localised price for the console, as well as specific launch dates for each of the Asian territories, was not revealed. Details are set to be unveiled during SCEJA's local launch event in November this year.
The PlayStation 4 is scheduled to launch in North America on November 15, in Europe on November 29, and in Japan on February 22 next year.
