Developer Guerilla Games has revealed two free multiplayer maps as well as its first multiplayer DLC pack for first-person shooter game Killzone Shadow Fall.

Posted on the official PlayStation blog, the new Killzone Shadow Fall map pack includes two free multiplayer maps inspired by locations in the single-player campaign. The first of these is The Cruiser map, which is set in a "decommissioned VSA cruiser full of narrow, labyrinthine passages and interconnected compartments".

The second map, The Hangar, takes place in "one of Helghan's vast and lofty mining spires".

In addition to the free maps, The Insurgent DLC pack will soon be available to purchase. The pack will feature a new class known as The Insurgent, who will possess three new abilities, as well as the unique capability to hack and steal.

The pack will also introduce three new weapons, a new difficulty mode, a new online collectibles mode, a personalisation pack, and new challenges and trophies. The Insurgent DLC pack will be released on the PlayStation store in April for $9.99.

PlayStation 4 owners can participate in the current Killzone Shadow Fall free multiplayer trial, which ends March 11. A PlayStation Plus subscription is not required.
