PS4 Best-Selling Console in US and Worldwide for 2014

I prefer Sony, but competition is good and console wars are just lame, so this really doesn't change much. The more pressure on all the console companies there is, the better it is for gamers!

It is also impressive that the PS4 has maintained its lead without any price cut while the competition has already made 2 price cuts in less than a year.

Also, it will be interesting to see the effect that will cause the first PS4 price cut when it arrives. It will surely take out any momentum from the competition.

Better system gets better sales in this case worldwide. If only my fellow Americans weren't so dumb.

Why would someone hate the PS4? You play games on it. It's fine, they look good and run well.

I don't hate the xbox. I do hate Microsoft and there are many many reasons for that that go back 30 years.

without primary\secondary access measures i would have to be signed in to play my game and nobody else could play while i played. primary\secondary allows people to play at the same time. why is that so hard to understand?

remove primary activation and games are tied to accounts. that means no game share. you are 100 percent wrong man.

I still hate this garbage system! Still cant bring myself to buy an xbox.. Looks like im stuck in a rut for a while...

digital: £55\2= £27.50 per person

disc: £45 per person

split 50/50 £45 is £22.50 so its not half the price, you don't actually save that much money really. but, the devs make more money.

1. they don't have to pay any costs other than the bandwidth to upload the game (they only upload once and then its on the store forever) and maybe the licenses (which sony might provide themselves anyway through their own system, in which case it will just be the game they have to upload to store). that costs peanuts.

2. they don't pay any shipping fees to retailers

3. they don't pay mass production disc burning factory fees

4. they don't pay printing fees for box art, manuals, disc art etc

5. they don't pay for the box

they are saving a lot of money there, a lot more than what i save believe it. its 2 ppl who own 1 game in just 1 transaction, quick, efficient and cost effective, and less time consuming. remember they'll have to pay people to set up wholesale deals and so on for the discs.
