PS2 Gets Extreme
Activision confirms 14 titles currently in development for Sony's new console.
Activision has confirmed Kelly Slade's Pro Surfer for the PlayStation 2. Additionally, the company confirmed previously that Matt Hoffman's Pro BMX and Tony Hawk 3 will also be released for the console. These and eleven other PS2 titles are currently in development by Activision.
"Our partnership with Kelly Slater over the past nine months is enabling us to bring the ultimate surfing game to market," stated Ron Doornink, president and COO, Activision. "The technological advancements of the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system allows us to re-create the dynamic wave motion and physics that are essential to producing an authentic surfing game."
The PlayStation 2 will launch on October 26.
