PS2 Castlevania dated for Europe

Konami of Europe has today announced that it will release Castlevania in Europe on Friday, February 13, 2004. The game is the first in the Castlevania series to take place in a 3D environment and acts as a prelude to previous Castlevania titles, as players assume the role of Leon Belmont, who goes to Dracula's castle in search of his missing love, Sara.

Castlevania was released in North America as Castlevania: Lament of Innocence on October 21. For more information, check out our full review of the game.
