PS Games Incompatible with PS2 Update

Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) on Thursday released the list of PS games incompatible with the PlayStation2 console. SCE did not provide solutions as to how they can be played on the PS2 and urged users to play the games using the current PS console.

Take note that these are Japanese PS titles, so the compatibility issue shouldn't be much of a concern to North American users - other than importers. Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) will have to release its own list of games if there are issues of incompatibility with the North American system. We'll keep you posted.
