As was made quite clear last week, publishers are paying an increasing amount of attention (and money) to secure top-notch voice acting for their games. Today, Sierra Entertainment revealed a trio of big-screen actors tapped to lend their talents to the production of its parkour-tinged action game Prototype.

Taking the role of protagonist shape-shifter Alex Mercer will be Barry Pepper (Flags of Our Fathers, M.A.N.T.I.S.). The supporting cast will be headlined by character actors Gordon Clapp (Flags of Our Fathers, NYPD Blue) and Paul Guilfoyle (C.S.I.: Crime Scene Investigation, M.A.N.T.I.S.).

Developed by Radical Entertainment (Scarface: The World is Yours, The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction), Prototype is slated to launch on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC later this year.
