Pro StarCraft II Player Booted From Tournament After Rape Comment
Mihaylo "Kas" Hayda disqualified from tournament over Twitter comments to his female opponent.
Hungarian professional gamer Mihaylo "Kas" Hayda was recently booted from a StarCraft II tournament after he tweeted that he was going to "rape" his female challenger during an upcoming qualifying match. The tweet has been deleted, but not before it was captured and posted in a Deadspin report.
The tweet said: "Going to rape some girl soon. #fragbitemasters". Hayda was referring to his upcoming Fragbite Masters Season 3 tournament qualifying match against opponent Madeleine Leander. She wrote about the "scary" message in a post on E-Sport.
"I don't even know what to say. I was very surprised to say the least," she said. "This coming from a pro player is scary. The organizers did what they could. They asked Kas to apologize and talked about it after."
Hayda won his match against Leander, but he was subsequently disqualified from the entire event.
"This was decided tonight after Hayda acted inappropriately in social media, where he wrote an offensive post, claimed to be a joke, towards his opponent," organizers said in a statement. "Fragbite Masters do not tolerate this kind of behavior. We strive to bring out the best of e-sports, and the said Twitter post showed a part we all want to destroy from our community."
For his part, Hayda apologized for his tweet and said he's going to take a break from Twitter.

Leander added that she doesn't think Hayda will make the same mistake twice.
After all of this I want to say that @cScKas said some really good things after everything. He is sorry. And I doubt it will happen again.

With that said. If you didn't know: joking about rape is never ok. Ever. If you think it is, please unfollow me.
