Prime Day 2019 (Final Hours): Division 2 Drops To Just $20 (US)

Squad up.

Ubisoft's The Division 2 is a super solid live-service game if you've got a few mates to join in on the fun. It offers some exciting shooting and a whole lot of multiplayer content to work your way through--along with plenty of colored loot to chase. As part of Amazon's Prime Day 2019 sale, both the Xbox One and PS4 versions of The Division 2 are available for $20. That's cheap enough that you could convince a few friends to take a shot on it along with you.

This is the standard version of the game, but Ubisoft has been supporting it heavily since launch. This means that, if you like what you play in the base game, there's more content for you to check out should you wish to continue gunning your way to helping society rebuild itself. Ubisoft detailed its plans for the game's second year of content at E3 2019.

In his The Division 2 review, Ed Tran said, although the narrative underpinning the game is lacking, "the strength of the systems and design that fuel The Division 2 as a game are compelling enough to keep you captivated for dozens [of hours]. The range of enemy types continues to keep combat encounters challenging, the equipment I earn and pick up continues to feel different, valuable, and asks me to consider new ways of play.

"The ravaged environments continue to intrigue, and sometimes they're so stunning I find myself needing to take screenshots before I move on. It might not have much to say, but The Division 2 is a perpetual cycle of tension, relief, and reward that's difficult to stay away from."

Great time to jump in on a great game, with the first of 3 free DLC dropping on July 30. Even folks who criticize the game’s end game have put in over a hundred hours. I just started slowing down a few weeks ago after putting in over 100, and matchmaking was still super quick. Can’t wait to jump in with the new DLC on July 30.
