Arush Entertainment and RealArcade have released Primal Prey, an episodic dinosaur-hunting game. The game, which was developed by Deer Hunter developer Sunstorm Interactive, can be downloaded through the RealArcade game service, and it will be available on Arush Entertainment's Web site later this month. The first few levels of the first episode are available for free, and additional episodes, which contain around seven levels each, are available for approximately $5.

Primal Prey is a first-person shooter that takes players back in time to hunt a variety of dinosaurs using modern-day and futuristic weapons and equipment. The free downloadable levels include two missions, along with random hunts and trophy hunts. Players will hunt a number of dinosaur species including the styracosaurus and the gastonia using shotguns, tranquilizer pistols, digital binoculars, and dinosaur calls. Additional episodes include a wide range of dinosaur species, such as utahraptors, troodons, iguanadons, triceratops, quetzalcoatlus, and the fearsome tyrannosaurus rex. To deal with such dangerous creatures, players have access to electron guns, rail guns, shrink rays, and a number of other weapons.
