President Obama Has Early Access to Game of Thrones, Fear Him
A Presidential Game of Thrones.
Barack Obama has been given to access to a weapon more powerful than the American Nuclear arsenal: Game of Thrones spoilers.
According to showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, as reported by Techinsider, the leader of the free world has been granted early access to the series, which officially makes him the most dangerous person on the internet, if not the world.
Benioff and Weiss were asked if they had any 'Oh my god we totally made it,' moments, referencing the popularity of the HBO series.
"I think, for both of us, finding out the President wanted advanced copies of the episodes was an 'aha' moment," Weiss replied. "That was a very strange moment ... He’s the leader of the free world."
"When the commander-in-chief says 'I want to see advanced episodes,' what are you gonna do?" Benioff added.
In a separate interview with Vulture actor Liam Cunningham, who plays Ser Davos, said Obama receives DVDs in advance too.
"Did you know he gets advance copies? POTUS," he said. "He gets DVD copies before we do. And we're in it!"
