Get The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom For $60
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom releases exclusively for Nintendo Switch on May 12.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is the first and only (so far) Nintendo Switch exclusive to cost $70. If you didn't snag a preorder prior to the price jump that kicked in after the latest Nintendo Direct, you're now stuck paying $70 for a physical copy at major retailers. However, even with the game already out, there's still a way to get Tears of the Kingdom for its original $60 price.
Over at Super Shop, you can use GameSpot's exclusive promo code GMSPTZLDA to lock in your Tears of the Kingdom copy for $60. The price at Super Shop is $68 without the special promotion, so don't forget to enter the code after adding the game to your cart. If you've never purchased anything from Super Shop, you might see a popup offering 10% off your first order. These deals don't stack, so you're better off opting for promo code.
Super Shop offers free shipping and a 30-day money back guarantee. Games are sent out at launch and delivery times are quick, which means you'll be playing just a couple of days after the official release date.
To no one's surprise, the $130 Collector's Edition sold out quickly, but it's possible more units will be available again. However, you can still buy the special-edition Nintendo Switch OLED, the new Link Amiibo, and carrying case.
Those who prefer digital games can get a solid discount on Tears of the Kingdom, too. Nintendo's game voucher program lets customers grab two games for $100, so you can save $20 or $30 by pairing Zelda with another first-party Switch game.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom isn't the only Switch exclusive you can get for less. Pikmin 4 is available to preorder for $49 ahead of its July 21 release.
