The CW has announced that both Superman & Lois Season 3 and Gotham Knights as a series will both premiere on March 14, 2023.

"The new season of The CW's biggest show Superman & Lois alongside our most exciting new series Gotham Knights will make Tuesdays a can't-miss night of action," Brad Schwartz, president of entertainment for The CW Network said. "With the iconic characters and gritty streets that everyone knows, fans will experience the best season yet of Superman & Lois and be introduced to a hunted group of crime fighters out for vengeance, following in Batman's footsteps on Gotham Knights."

Season 3 of Superman & Lois will find the Man of Steel facing off against Intergang head Bruno Manheim, played by The Orville's Chad L. Coleman. Michael Bishop will be stepping into the role of Jonathan Kent. The release also shares that the new season "opens weeks after Superman's blowout defeat of Ally Allston… Clark and Lois are now working at the Smallville Gazette together and enjoying small town life." But, the couple is facing friction and isolation in shouldering secrets.

Gotham Knights takes place in a Gotham City that is reeling after Batman's death. A synopsis in part reads: "In the wake of Bruce Wayne’s murder, his adopted son Turner Hayes is framed for killing the Caped Crusader, along with the children of some of Batman's enemies." Turner is then forced to rely on fast friends, sudden allies, and unlikely partners to clear his name and keep Gotham protected as Harvey Dent continues to build his case. The upcoming series is co-created by James Stoteraux, Natalie Abrams, and Chad Fiveash. Its stars include Oscar Morgan, Fallon Smythe, Tyler DiChiara, Olivia Rose Keegan, Navia Robinson, Misha Collins, Anna Lore, and Rahart Adams.
