Preacher Season 2 ended with quite a twist, with one of the main characters in a seemingly un-fixable jam. Season 3 picks that story right back up, so if you're not caught up on Preacher, you're going to want to stop reading now. And definitely don't watch this exclusive Preacher Season 3 clip. There are Preacher spoilers ahead!

When last we saw Tulip, she'd recently expired--died--exited this mortal coil--from a severe case of bullet to the gut syndrome. It's pretty clear that she'll be back in Season 3--if they'd wanted to keep it a secret, they probably wouldn't have included that Season 2 flashback where Jesse's grandmother resurrects a chicken.

So it's not surprising that in this exclusive Preacher Season 3 clip, Jesse and Cassidy have a mission: gathering Tulip's favorite things to help Grandma bring her back to life.

The clip comes from the Preacher Season 3 premiere, “Angelville,” whose official description reads thus: "In a last-ditch effort to save Tulip, Jesse and Cassidy take her to Angelville, Jesse’s family home, and Jesse is reunited with the people he fears the most: his own family."

It's certainly an interesting way to do it, and a big change from the comics. But if there's one thing we've come to expect from Preacher, it's that the show will always defy our expectations.
