PowerVR Gains More Support
In the latest spin for their PowerVR 3D accelerator solution, 18 new PowerVR Ready 3D-accelerated software titles are announced.
NEC and VideoLogic, in the latest spin for their PowerVR 3D accelerator solution, announced 18 new PowerVR Ready 3D-accelerated software titles. These are in addition to the 28 new titles announced at E3. NEC reports that more than 100 titles are either in development or released that support the PowerVR chipset.
The titles:
Acclaim's TurokActivision's Heavy Gear, Hexen II, Nightmare Creatures
Eidos' Tomb Raider II
Electronic Arts' Moto Racer, FIFA: Road to World Cup 98
Epic MegaGames' Unreal
id Software's QUAKE II, QUAKE, QUAKE Mission Pack No. 1, QUAKE Mission Pack No. 2
Gremlin's Actua Soccer 2
LucasArts' Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2
Psygnosis' Shipwreckers!
Shiny's Messiah
Virgin Interactive Entertainment's NHL Powerplay 98
