Power Rangers Movie Poster Shows the Crew Standing on a Car Stargazing

Film company Lionsgate has released the official poster for next year's Power Rangers movie. The Rangers--who are not wearing their new Halo-like suits--are seen standing under the stars. The stars are aligned in the shape of a the Rangers' lightning bolt logo.

Four of the Rangers are standing on a car, while a fifth is on the ground, though it's unclear if that means anything. The poster also reveals the movie's tagline, "Together We Are More." Check it out below.

Power Rangers' teen heroes are played by Dacre Montgomery (Red Ranger), Naomi Scott (Pink Ranger), Becky G (Yellow Ranger), RJ Cyler (Blue Ranger), and Ludi Lin (Black Ranger). Additionally, The Office alum David Denman will play Red Ranger's father.

Just recently, Lionsgate announced that Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston will play the role of Zordon. Additionally, Hunger Games actress Elizabeth Bankswill play the evil Rita Repulsa. The new Power Rangers movie is set for a March 24, 2017 release. The film will be directed by Dean Israelite, who previously made Project Almanac. Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer is optimistic that next year's film will be the first of many.

"We are really, really excited about the Power Rangers movie," he said on a conference call with analysts in May. "We could see doing five or six or seven."
