Postal Killer Stalks Gamers

If you liked Postal, you just might enjoy Wrath.

Here's a game that sounds like it may be venturing into Postal territory.

Future Primitive's Wrath is a 3D action game slated for a Christmas 1998 release. The player-character goes by the name Cud Savage, out to avenge the death of his girlfriend, "strip-show sensation Misty Waters." Framed for the murder and sent to death row, Cud breaks out of prison and is "out for the blood of the corrupt pigs, dirty judge, and bungling lawyer who put in the stir."

The game will boast a 3D engine optimized for OpenGL and 3Dfx, will feature first- and third-person perspectives, will let the player drive more than 20 types of vehicles, and will feature a combination of action gaming and puzzle-solving.

In the game's multiplayer mode, gamers will be able to select any of Wrath's characters to serve as their avatar of, one assumes, wanton violence, rampant destruction, and general antisocial behavior (oh, and players will be able to engage in multiplayer combat as well).

You'll get to wreak havoc on authority figures, though there's no word yet on whether a marching band will figure into this game.
