Pop star Grimes hosted a livestream over the weekend in which she answered a whole host of fan questions. One user asked her about Cyberpunk 2077, and the singer wasn't shy when opening up about her role in the game, revealing more than developer CD Projekt Red is probably comfortable with sharing. As a result, spoilers ahead.

"I did my voice acting for Lizzy Wizzy, that game is going to be fucking good," Grimes explained, via Reddit. "I mean I haven't played it, but I saw someone play an hour of the game. I play a pop star who committed suicide on stage, and they had to quickly come and perform emergency surgery and replace her whole body with cybernetics while she was dead for an hour. Then she finished the show as a cyborg. One of the greatest pieces of performance art ever made."

Grimes has also recorded music for the upcoming game. She performed the song 4ÆM during last year's Game Awards.

Cyberpunk 2077 is set to launch on September 17 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The RPG is also launching on Nvidia's new cloud gaming service, and those who purchase it on Xbox One will be able to get the eventual Xbox Series X upgrade for free.
