Comments

Nintendo has today released the first information on a previously unannounced Pokémon game for the GameCube. Pokémon Channel is a single-player game in which you seemingly get to explore the Pokémon world at your own pace without having to endure random battles and the like.

As you explore the beaches, mountains, and woods of the Pokémon world, you'll be able to befriend a wild Pikachu, color in Pokémon pictures to display in Smeargle's art gallery, play a virtual version of Pokémon Mini, and watch Pokémon TV channels. The TV programs included in the game will include a quiz show, a news channel, a shopping channel, and some previously unreleased DVD-quality animation featuring the Pichu Bros.

We'll bring you more information on Pokémon Channel as soon as it becomes available.
