Bandai Namco is updating the arcade version of Pokken Tournament with Scizor on October 20. Alongside the announcement, a trailer showing the steel/bug-type Pokemon in action has been released.

Scizor looks to have a nice mix of ranged projectile moves and up-close combos. He also looks pretty handy in the air, with various juggles and multi-hit area of effect attacks. In his Burst Attack he grows energy wings and slams into his enemy. Check him out below.

Neither Bandai Namco nor Nintendo have confirmed whether Scizor will be made available on the Wii U version of Pokken Tournament as of yet.

In GameSpot's Pokken Tournament review the fighting game was described as being "one of the best on any platform" and earned a 9/10.

"Frequently magnificent to look at, delicately designed, and rewarding for players across all skill levels, it’s the Pokemon fighting game deserving of a 20-year wait."

In other Pokemon news, The Pokemon Company has released a new trailer for Pokemon Sun and Moon showing off a number of new monsters, including one that can change its type to make it more effective against a variety of opponents.

Pokemon Sun and Moon are scheduled to come out on November 18 for Nintendo 3DS. A demo for Pokemon Moon will be available on October 18 and players will be able to use Greninja in this. It's possible to transform the Greninja into Ash-Greninja and then transfer him into the full game when it's out.
