Nintendo of America has announced that Pokemon Snap is currently available in more than 86,000 hotel rooms across the US, through LodgeNet Entertainment's in-room game systems. The game lets players take a safari to Pokemon Island to take pictures of their favorite Pokemon characters.

"Once again, the leading lodging entertainment provider and the world's best-known game company are on top of the market, delivering today's most popular content when guests expect it," said Steven D. Truckenmiller, vice president of guest pay services for LodgeNet. "Adding Pokemon Snap to our game lineup now capitalizes on the popularity of Pokemon and the many marketing tie-ins of the holiday travel season."

LodgeNet will also be premiering Pokemon: The First Movie in February 2000. For details on Pokemon Snap, check out videogames.com's review of the game linked to the right.
