Niantic has rolled out another update for Pokemon Go. The new version, 1.53.2 for iOS and 0.83.1 for Android, makes a few minor improvements to the popular mobile game, most notably if you own the new iPhone X.

Along with various bug fixes, the version 1.53.2 update optimizes Pokemon Go for the iPhone X's screen resolution. Niantic has also removed support for older devices that are still running iOS 8.

In terms of specific bugs that Niantic has addressed, the new update resolves an issue that prevented players from maxing out their Pokemon's CP. It also fixes a bug that caused error banners to remain on the screen until the app was restarted. Additionally, the new update improves load times when you open the game.

Pokemon Go players still have a few more days to catch the game's current Legendary Pokemon, Entei, Raikou, and Suicune. The three Legendary dogs will be available in their final regions until November 30, making this your last opportunity to add them to your team for the foreseeable future. This month, Suicune is in the Americas; Raikou is available in Europe and Africa; and Entei can be encountered in the Asia-Pacific region.

The latest Pokemon Go event, called the Global Catch Challenge, is also going on now for a limited time. This worldwide event tasks players with capturing an enormous number of Pokemon, with more rewards being unlocked as more Pokemon are caught. If players can capture 3 billion Pokemon before the event ends, the previously Japan-exclusive Farfetch'd will be made available around the world to catch for 48 hours. The Global Catch Challenge concludes on November 26.
