A new Mega Evolution has made its debut in Pokemon Go. Mega Ampharos is now appearing in the game as a Mega Raid boss, and developer Niantic is celebrating its arrival with a special Incense Day event featuring its first form, Mareep, today, January 24.
The Incense Day event runs from 11 AM to 5 PM local time. Throughout the event, Mareep will appear much more frequently when you use an Incense, and you'll have a chance to encounter and catch Shiny Mareep. On top of that, if you evolve Flaaffy--Mareep's evolved form--into Ampharos during the event, it'll learn the previously Community Day-exclusive move Dragon Pulse.
