The PlayStation Sizzling Summer Sale is now live, bringing with it substantial discounts to a number of first and third-party games available on PS5 and PS4 consoles. These savings include big deals on a number of recent games, with titles such as WWE 2K23 going for just $45.50, Dead Island 2 dropping from $70 to $52.50, and the remake of Dead Space dismembering its $70 MSRP to just $49.

A few other slightly older highlights include Sony's The Last of Us Part II for just $20, a great price for an action-packed adventure that mixes post-apocalyptic themes with a thoughtful examination of humans trapped in a cycle of violence. Just in time for its upcoming Phantom Liberty expansion, you can get Cyberpunk 2077 for just $25 and experience the dark future of Night City in all of its neon glory. Sonic Frontiers is a surprisingly chill game with a vast world to explore, and with a 50% discount, now is a great time to feel a need for speed with the Sega icon.

For even bigger savings, you can grab the excellent Resident Evil Village for $20, while Mortal Kombat 11 has been discounted to the price of a cup of coffee. Caffeine or a lifetime supply of fatalities? You decide.

The sale period runs for about a month, ending on August 16, and in a blog post, Sony said that discounts will be offered only for a "limited time."
