PlayStation Plus Free Games of January 2016 Won't Be Announced This Week

Microsoft announced January 2016's free Games With Gold titles earlier this week, but it sounds like PlayStation players are going to have to wait a little to find out what their free games are.

PlayStation community manager Fred Dutton said on Twitter that Sony will make its announcement for the PlayStation Plus free games of January 2016 for PS4, PS3, and PS Vita "likely next week."

He didn't provide a specific date. We'll have all the details for you as they're announced.

In the meantime, it's not too late to pick up December 2015's free games for PlayStation--and Xbox. Though the free games for both platform families aren't coming until January, you can pick up some games for cheap through the PlayStation Network Holiday Sale and Xbox Live's "Countdown" event right now.
