@jenovaschilld The market for a general purpose computing/entertainment device is much bigger than the market for a game console. Look at tablet sales, smartphones, PCs, cable subscriptions, DVD players, etc. All are much bigger and much more widely adopted than game consoles.

I have a family of 5 and I am the only gamer in the household. If I hook up the Xbox to my TV all of my family members are now forced to use the Xbox every day, something they would never otherwise do. Maybe only gamers will buy Xbox, but the majority of people who use the console will not be core gamers

@C8M @Kracka2205 It's still a matter of your opinion. That's precisely what subjective means. I'm not saying that my opinion outweighs yours by any means, mine is just as subjective. Historically I've felt that Sony's exclusives tend to be better, but that's just my opinion. As far as AAA pedigree goes I don't agree with your assessment. Driveclub is developed by the guys who did Motorstorm, hardly a failure. Knack is being developed by SCE Japan Studio which is a quite respected and accomplished developer (Ico, Shadow of the Colossus) along with Mark Cerny who is also a very accomplished game designer. As far as Killzone goes even Killzone 3 which was the weakest one still got mostly positive reviews, and Killzone 2 was one of the best shooters on PS3. Sure they might have not sold quite as well as Halo but that doesn't change the fact that they're great games. Also you conveniently left out Infamous Second Son. Being a big fan of the first two that game alone is reason enough for me to get a PS4. As far as The Order goes I agree, We still know next to nothing about it so I can't really comment on it. But then again the same goes for Quantum Break on X1, we've still seen hardly anything about it. Peggle and PvZ don't interest me. Titanfall will be on PC (and will probably come to PS4 as well at some point later). And also we still don't even know that some of Sony's other top studios like Naughty Dog and SCEA Santa Monica are even working on yet. Now don't get me wrong, I'm no fanboy, I have a PS3, a 360, and a PC, I just love to play games no matter what the platform. I'll definitely be getting a X1 at some point, probably after a price drop and a redesign.

@Kracka2205 @C8M I don't think it is subjective. MS has announced much better AAA pedigree games from companies that have made multi-million selling franchises. Whether it is Remedy (Max Payne) or Insomniac (Ratchet & Clank) or Respawn (Call of Duty), these developers have a proven track record of hit games. Sony has announced a bunch of middling indie games of unknown quality, a couple of new games of unknown dubious quality from unproven developers (Driveclub, Knack, The Order) and sequels to PS games that have done poorly (Killzone). You have to be really biased to not admit MS has announced better games at this point. They even have a bunch of EA exclusives (Peggle, PvZ Garden Warfare, Titanfall) and exclusive content for Battlefield and FIFA. I appreciate that some people are just rooting for Sony, but the games Sony has announced are much weaker than the X1 lineup.
