Gentlemen: Imagine waking up in the morning with four girlfriends, throwing on a robe, going to your job as director of photo shoots for Playboy, and spending the evening schmoozing with celebs and beautiful women. The real-life equivalent of that dream may be well out of reach, but the virtual equivalent is out in stores today. Arush Entertainment has announced that Playboy: The Mansion has shipped and is now available for the Xbox, PlayStation 2, and PC.

Playboy: The Mansion lets gamers assume the role of Hugh Hefner, founder of the famous gentlemen's magazine that has found its way into the minds and sock drawers of men everywhere. From humble beginnings, gamers will need to build the Playboy empire by throwing parties, rubbing elbows (and other things) with real-life celebrities and Playmates, and choosing just the right angle in photo shoots.

"Since the beginning of Playboy Magazine, I have looked for new ways to expand the Playboy experience, and video games are the next logical step," said Hef.

Playboy: The Mansion is rated "M" for Mature and retails for $49.99 for the PS2 and Xbox, and $39.99 for the PC. To see even more of Playboy: The Mansion, be sure to head on over to our previous coverage (for the articles, of course).
