Playback: Week in Review
GT goes global, what titles scored in '98, and the next game from Cyan. Here's what made headlines this week.
Most of the big news this week came from our console gaming friends on the other side of the aisle. Still, there were a few noteworthy blips on the PC game horizon.
GT Interactive extended its reach, this time internationally. It bought British developer Reflections Interactive. Reflections is the company behind Demolition Derby. This acquisition is the latest effort of GT to diversify itself and become something larger than just "that game company from New York."
PC Data issued its list of top-selling PC games for 1998 (through November, that is). Blizzard is all over the map with Starcraft and Diablo, And Cyan checks in with two winners as well – Myst and Riven.

And back to Cyan…the group evidently isn't satisfied with two games in the list of top sellers. It's hard at work on their next project.
