PC gamers on Steam can play strategy game Sid Meier's Civilization: Beyond Earth free starting now and running all weekend long. The free play weekend ends Sunday, January 18, at 1 PM PDT.
Valve has also rolled out a special, timed deal on the game for people who decide to buy it, offering the title for 40 percent off. That means you can get it for $30 instead of $50 until Sunday.
In addition, this weekend only, you can pick up the Civilization: Beyond Earth Classics Bundle, which includes Beyond Earth, as well as copies of Civilization III, Civilization IV, and Civilization V for $35.
