Plants vs. Zombies 2 out on August 15 for iOS
Tower defense title now out in North America after soft-launch in Australia and New Zealand.
EA and PopCap Games will be launching Plants vs. Zombies 2: It's About Time on iOS via the Apple App Store this August 15.
The sequel to Plants vs. Zombies is following a free-to-play model and features three new worlds, new plants and zombie types, and more than 60 levels. The game was slated to be out late this spring before being delayed. PopCap Games senior producer Allen Murray said that the delay was due to extensive testing of the game through numerous servers.
The game was soft-launched in Australia and New Zealand on the week of July 10.
There is no news on a PC or console release date for Plants vs. Zombies 2 at the moment.
