Even if you don't make any in app purchases, every time its downloaded the further we push it up the charts the more successful it will be and the more likely all games will become pay to win. if you love games don't download this EA Pay to win trash

@de-astroturfer You don't have to spend a dime on this game. You just have to play it and you can acquire everything. (Except one plant I guess that you have to buy.) So this game is not pay to win.

@Frosty192 @de-astroturfer all this free games are P2W the time that you have to invest on them is artificially elongated, if you want to buy all the content in this game will more than likely cost you 10 times the price of a AAA game on lunch and the list keeps going, there is not such thing as F2P games, they are all a scam. only 2 exceptions that i can say that are purely cosmetical are DOTA 2 and TF2.

@Dante0611 @Frosty192 @de-astroturfer Totally agree I don't know why these companies don't just cut to the chase and send out phishing emails to kids asking for mummy and daddies credit card details for all it amounts to !

@Frosty192 @de-astroturfer All pay to win games work like that, thats the definition of pay to win. the difficulty curve is usually artificially steep to encourage payment or the game grinds the player with repetitive tasks which are negated with payment, games which hold back features are not pay to win, thats purely IAP.

You can argue that PVZ2 hasn't got an artificially high difficulty curve or that it doesn't grind the player but you cant argue its not pay to win or that the IAP's aren't extortionate. furthermore if this model succeeds all games will eventually become pay to win, which will be a bad thing for our industry, with compromised gameplay and ill informed parents with click happy kids being fleeced by greedy cynical corporate thieves.
