Q Games has been a mainstay on Sony's PlayStation Network, thanks to its string of PixelJunk-branded bite-size games. This week, the Kyoto, Japan-based developer's fourth original installment in the series, PixelJunk Shooter, can be purchased through the PlayStation Store for $9.99. It's as much a puzzler as it is a shooter, and in the game players pilot a tiny ship through underground caverns, using the landscape, water, and magma to help clear safe paths for stranded explorers.

PixelJunk Shooter will be joined by Wanako Studios' Revenge of the Wounded Dragons this week. Also at the $9.99 price point, the game is a throwback to the classic side-scrolling beat-'em-up genre and sees players assume the role of a kung fu master. The game features 24 different stages as well as a variety of minigame modes and support for local multiplayer.

Konami will also be going the throwback route this week with Frogger Returns. The $4.99 downloadable title updates the 2D top-down classic with an isometric 3D view. As could be expected, Frogger Returns also includes a range of new levels, enemies, and power-ups. Lastly, Bomberman Party Edition has been added as a PSOne Classic, and gamers can pick up the multiplayer-centric demolition-puzzler for $5.99.

PSP gamers have a host of new options this week, as Sony has added eight additional games to the PlayStation Store for the PSP. At the $14.99 price point, gamers can pick up Konami's Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles and Silent Hill: Origins, both of which initially saw release in the US in 2007. Konami also has the Gradius Collection, which was first released in 2006, available for $19.99.

Koei's Dynasty Warriors Vol. 2 lands at the $14.99 price point, while Coded Arms, Death Jr., and Death Jr. 2 Root of Evil can be purchased for $9.99 apiece. Lastly, MTO USA has released Kurulin Fusion, a puzzle game that features a musical score from Final Fantasy bard Nobuo Uematsu. It can be purchased for $4.99.

Two new PSP Minis also see release this week. Alawar's time-management strategy game Stand O'Food can be purchased for $4.99, while Left Field Productions' Battle Poker costs $2.99. With the PS3's firmware v3.15 update now available, PSP Minis can now be played on the PS3.

A full list of the week's new PlayStation Store content, including themes, wallpapers, demos, and add-on content, is available on the official PlayStation Blog.
