Pitfall: The Lost Expedition strikes gold on the PC
The PC version of the 3D update of the Atari classic will ship October 11.
Publisher Aspyr and developer Beenox have announced that Pitfall: The Lost Expedition has gone gold and is on schedule to ship for the PC on October 11. Released on consoles in February, Pitfall: The Lost Expedition follows Pitfall Harry through various ordeals as he races against his archrival to discover hidden treasures. The 3D action platformer provokes plenty of nostalgia, as it features many of the qualities of its Atari 2600 predecessor, including swinging from vines and avoiding the jaws of alligators.
