Pitfall for PC enters beta

PC version of the latest Pitfall game on track for September release.

Comments

While not quite as exciting as the World of Warcraft beta, the PC version of Pitfall: The Lost Expedition has entered internal beta testing at the Canadian developer Beenox. Originally released for the Atari 2600 more than 20 years ago, Pitfall follows vine-swinging, crocodile-evading, native-fighting explorer Harry as he journeys deep inside the Peruvian jungle. The Lost Expedition, which was released on all major consoles in February, is a fully 3D update of the game, and it features 50 levels of Pitfall action. Pitfall: The Lost Expedition can be picked up for $29.99 when it hits stores this September.
