Flying Lab Software has unveiled a new content-submission system for its upcoming online role-playing game, Pirates of the Burning Sea. Using the game's Web-based peer-review system, players can submit their own custom flags, sailcloth textures, and emblems. After submission, new graphics are displayed online for peer review by other users. With enough positive votes, the graphics get passed on to Flying Lab for final approval and inclusion in the game. Later this year, the content-submission system will be upgraded to accept 3D models, so players can create their own cannons, swords, and other objects. Players will be able to reserve their content for their own exclusive use, or sell it in the game for profit. For more information on the program, visit the official Pirates of the Burning Sea Web site.

Pirates of the Burning Sea is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game set in the 18th century Caribbean. Players will assume the role of a ship captain trying to work his or her way up the ranks of the privateer, merchant, trader, or naval classes.
