Pillage update

Zed Two releases new information on its upcoming strategy role-playing game for all current console platforms. New screens inside.

Zed Two has today released new information on Pillage, which is currently in development for all current console platforms, despite the fact that it was originally announced for the PC, PS2, and GameCube last year. Pillage has been described by Zed Two as both a role-playing epic and a turn-based action strategy game, and it will see players assuming the role of a young warrior in an unspecified future who is determined to avenge the death of his family at the claws of the loathsome creatures that have subjugated humankind.

In addition to the single-player game, Pillage will feature a two-player cooperative mode in which players will assume the roles of both the young warrior Low and his sister Pepper. The gameplay will be mission-based, and although it'll be possible to progress through the game simply by killing all the enemies in a given mission, it'll also be possible for players to succeed using stealth and cunning. The game will also boast a multiplayer team battle mode, although no specific details have been released at this time.

Zed Two, which is now part of the Warthog setup, is currently negotiating with a number of publishers for Pillage and hopes to release the game early next year. For more information on Pillage, check out our previous coverage of the game.
