Peyton has fever

Microsoft has announced that Peyton Manning will be on the cover of NFL Fever 2003. Microsoft has also announced that veteran sports broadcaster Kevin Calabro will be providing the play-by-play commentary for the game.

"Last year, I was amazed how realistic NFL Fever 2002 was, but with this year's improved gameplay, added features, and the introduction of online play, Microsoft may have truly outdone itself," Manning said. "I recently got the chance to play against Matt Hasselbeck online using Xbox Live. I couldn't believe I was playing a video game and communicating with Matt clear across the country. I can't wait to start battling the guys on our team both in person and online using Xbox Live."

NFL Fever 2003 is scheduled for release on August 6.
