People are in line for an Xbox One right now

At least two people are already in line in New York City to buy an Xbox One, two days ahead of the next-generation console's release on Friday, November 22. It is not clear when they originally got in line.

Microsoft's Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb took a photo of the very first person in line, whose gamertag is "kingodin79." Meanwhile, Xbox team member Mike Ybarra snapped a photo of the first two people in line (above).

Microsoft is holding a marquee Xbox One launch event in New York City's Times Square tomorrow evening. The first 1,000 people in line who purchase an Xbox One or Xbox One game will be able to attend a Macklemore & Ryan Lewis concert at the Best Buy Theater.

The first Xbox One will be sold in New Zealand. This console is currently being guarded by 20 sand tiger sharks.
