PC Batman: Arkham Asylum confined until Sept. 15

Damn pcs'. Always behind in technology , when will they keep up with consoles?JK.

Once again, another delay exclusively for PC. But a couple weeks is fine with me. A lot of (good) PC ports have come with bonus goodies recently. I hope this one will be as good as it's hyped up to be... I've been paranoid about anticipated games ending up in the garbage, thanks to Mercinaries 2 :(

I have always wanted lifelike soda and trash in my games! thanks for making all my gaming dreams come true! for realz though, if this game stinks, then it doesn't really matter how lifelike the soda cans are, does it? if it rocks, then everyone will say how rad it plays as well as looks.

Anybody else hate the Batman commercials were joker is talking and says "play as joker exclusively on ps3" it falsely advertises the game as ps3 exclusive. anyways Im getting this for 360 :D

Hmm, why would people play action games on their PC's? Let me think about that. Better graphics (I'm running a GeForce GTX 280 which is better then every current console), faster and smoother game-play due to PCs having WAY more memory (currently have 6 gigs in my rig), customizable controls or the ability to use a mouse for shooters (far more accurate), the list goes on...and on....and on....and on....

i need to see the pc version & if looks better i need a new gpu

Im still get the ps3 version since it gets extra content why is that anyways did sony pay them or something?

@ropumar Amen brother, I'm a PC gamer for life! So far every game I've wanted on console has come out on PC, sometimes as a better version (Mass Effect).

@ropumar you're in denial my friend. please show me a pc for that cheap that will not require any upgrades for the next 5 years and still manage to play the latest games at the same quality and resolution (well with the exception of 1080i and 1080p i suppose, we'll just leave that out...yes including blu-rays, sure lol) as a ps3 or 360...i would absolutely love to see it.

this isn't something the PC has that the consoles don't. Read the article. It says that the Physx tech is taking longer then expected to be placed in the PC version, it dosn't say that the PC is the only thing getting it. Just an implication that took it longer.

Hey, at least they are linking this delay directly to an improvement they're making to the game as opposed to just screwing us because we're PC gamers.

@alkaline_DnB I can get a gaming rig that can play games on 720p revolution with better framerate, loading and storage than consoles for only $500. And the games are WAY cheaper also, free online, mods, and PC has digital distribution already in place and with cheaper deals. The only reason console are important for me is the exclusives (reason I have a ps3), but don't bash PC only because you are a newb. You don't need a expensive PC to play games on same level of quality of consoles on 720p. And some game on consoles aren't even 720p, being as lower as 600p.

i was about to buy the normal edition of this game,but then the demo came out...CE preordered

Darn. I thought this would be one of the PC releases to be released along with it's PS3 and 360 iterations.

Too bad it's delayed, but the graphics' addition will likely be worth the wait. Only thing is, will have to finish this quickly because of the other great titles coming this fall/winter.

what's the difference between a $6G rig and a $400 console? price and release dates.

Im glad they are adding this to the PC version, so as said before at least now it isnt a lame port but something better than the console version :D

Well, they gave us a reason this time, rather than just saying how much longer to wait...

If it is true, it's ridiculous as there's never been one game that's actually had any difference in physics quality when using so called physics accelerators.They're a buncha crap.

I think they're stretching the truth with implementing PhysX tech in the game as cause for delay. Maximizing profits before the PC version drops is what most publishers do nowadays as they feel they "lose" money on pirated PC games.

At least they are making an effort to makethe PC version as good as it can get, and not just dropping a crappy port....

The fact that they're paying special attention to the PC version specifically gives me hope that the controls won't be as lousy as they could be...

We all know this is bull****! It's not as if Nvidia's PhysX technology came out last month! it's been around for a year! It's the same as normal,bring in the cash from console to shove out the PC..... We're second class gamers going on for third class at this rate! In any event, I have my doubts about this console produced, directed and scripted game on PC. Console gamers don't mind repetitive, shallow beat 'em up's, I think PC gamers do...

Release Physx as a downloadable patch. Sounds like an excuse so me, but I am just pissed cause I am looking forward to the game. Sux to be a console gamer, looks like you wont get realistic can sumulation.

I feel bad for those who were going to buy this on the PC. Hopefully they also have a console as well so they can at least rent the game on the 25.

wow, this will certainly be a drag for PC gamers. Especially those that were originally anticipating the August 25th release.
